Connect, Act, and Transform
I'm Molly. I’ve walked many paths in my life, and I’m sure you have too.
Let’s navigate them together.
Your Path:
It is normal and expected to have impacts and sore spots on life’s journey. You may deal with these impacts and sore spots all the time or intermittently. Either way, you are looking for someone with whom to collaborate , connect, and navigate you and/or your child’s journey. There is more to your story and we will engage with it together.
My Path:
I received my Masters of Social Work through Boise State University in 2018 and am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. My practice was first informed by my undergraduate degree in Disability Studies, Art, and Spanish through the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. For over 20 years I’ve worked in social services, supporting children and families impacted by disability and mental health.
My practice began by providing direct care to individuals in school and community settings, as well as case management to support clients in stewarding and accessing services as related to disability and mental health. As a result, I have a detailed understanding of how to navigate our complex medical, educational, and mental health systems.
In 2019 I began providing therapeutic services to children, young adults, and families who are impacted by mental health and looking to effectively collaborate as a team to connect, act, and transform.
I have a passion for wild spaces and attachment to the natural world. Since 2013 I have guided youth and families in outdoor wilderness areas in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota and the high desert and mountains of northern Utah, Colorado, and Idaho, after completing outdoor education and leadership training through North Carolina Outward Bound.
How we can work together:
(aka the nitty gritty of the tools we will use)
I believe in a holistic and strengths based approach, using a variety of modalities and theories to support the individual and/or family in their therapeutic work. We will collaborate and partner together to achieve your mental health goals. I utilize various modalities of Play Therapy, including Child Centered Play Therapy and attachment based play, parts work, as related to Internal Family Systems, the Interpersonal Neurobiological Model of Therapy (IPNB), EMDR, mindfulness and somatic based practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and systems theory to inform my practice.
All are Welcome Here.
